I dream about hospitals and graveyards

You were wearing black
You packed me a bag
Then you went out back

The clock struck eight
I was going to be late
I wanted to say "good day"

But you had gone away
Not wanting to delay
You didn't want to hear me say

"I love you, Goodbye"

I waited 'til your return
Your head peeked around the turn
This is something you had to learn

I took you in my arms
Giving you warmth
The moment was calm

You were quiet throughout the dream
Not saying anything
Now, into my embrace you leaned

Then I said,
dreaming in my bed,
realizing it's the end:

"I love you, Goodbye"
